As Michael McCarthy Boland, Jr.’s godmother, the family has asked that I reach out on their behalf to thank everyone for the incredible support they have received.
The outpouring of friends who attended the service, the hundreds of cards, flowers, texts, food, drinks, and gifts has been overwhelming.
As announced in the Washington Post and at Michael’s service, the Michael M. Boland, Jr.’s Scholarship Fund to help less fortunate young men has been established at Georgetown Prep, 10900 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20852.
