When the Washington Convention
and Visitor’s Association (WCVA)
merged with the DC Committee to
promote Washington, they formed the
Washington DC Convention and Tourism
Corporation (WCTC). The Ad Agency
developed the strategic plan to meet
their objectives of promoting the new
Washington Convention Center and
marketing Washington, DC as a fun,
safe and interesting city. Elements of
the plan included a special advertising
newspaper insert, a brochure promoting
the new Convention Center, print
ads, direct mail, and trade show
exhibit design.
