Project Overview
The modernization effort included renovating the existing school building and constructing a 40,000-square-foot addition. The project had languished several years before OPEFM was created.The project had three construction phases, each aimed at achieving the design intent of providing a state-of-the-art educational facility. Renovation also addressed critical life-safety issues, deferred maintenance and antiquated building systems.
The new construction resulted in new assembly space, classrooms, storage areas and support spaces.
