Franklin Square Park Logo

Attached is one of the very first Business Improvement District (BID) logos Debi Gasper, CEO/Creative Director, The AD Agency designed for Franklin Square Park in the early 80s.

It was done before computers with a hand waxer, X-Acto Knives, Rapidograph pens and Amberlith.

At the time, The AD Agency’s first office was overlooking the park at 14th and I Street, NW and a 2 story “This Is It” sign was right across the street!

Much time was spent revitalizing the park and surrounding area.
