The first time I met Ted Turner was when I chaired the Women in Telecommunications Gala at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.
I have always admired Ted’s vision, leadership, and remarkable accomplishments. A special shout-out to Julia Sprunt who was Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Turner Broadcasting and CNN at the time, along with Lauren Hutton, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and everyone who helped make the gala such a memorable evening.
The memories made that evening will always hold a special place in my heart.
